Don't Get Tripped Up

Among the top five interview questions employers use to trip up job candidates:  Tell me about one of your greatest failures.

It’s easy to talk about success, but talking about failure is a problem for many people. Not because we don’t have a lot to choose from, but because we distance ourselves from our mistakes.

That’s a problem.

People who own their mistakes, take them out and examine them every once in awhile, and create plans to avoid those same mistakes in the future have the best answer...and the best odds of avoiding One Stupid Mistake.
